The Gauteng Department of Public Transport, Roads and Works developed this
website in order to deliver a service the public in the following manner:

- Provide a facility from which potential applicants can download instructions on
how to apply for a wayleave. Refer to the "How To" and "Notice Board" sections.

- Assist wayleave applicants in their enquiries on the status of their applications.Refer to the "Status Report" section. Note that this section is password-protected.To apply for a password contact the Department at Yolandie.DeBeer@gauteng.gov.za.

- Provide a facility from which potential developers can view existing wayleaves on a specific part of infrastructure (Refer to the "General Report" section)

-This site provides a link to the Drawing Management System. The Department uses this web-based system to assist them in managing their drawings of road, bridge and drainage designs and road and proclamation reports. Click here to access the Drawing Management
